On-Line Detection Method and Device for Moisture Content Measurement of Bales in a Square Baler

Aiming to address the problems of low detection accuracy and poor stability due weak anti-interference ability bridge circuit operational amplifier circuit, influence on capacitance bulk density temperature straw bale, an on-line device for moisture content bales in a square baler was developed based method. The integrates sensor, pressure sensor. optimal structure size capacitor plate determined through simulation test sensor structure. A monitoring system MATLAB language is built, model constructed backpropagation neural network (BPNN) algorithm. Finally, bench baling machine designed, performance verification carried out. results show that when length, width, spacing are 148.6, 47.7, 5.1 mm, respectively, sensitivity highest. modeling R2, RMSE, RPD BPNN 0.986, 0.008998, 5.99, with solid data fitting high prediction accuracy. samples having between 13.1 28.04%, coefficient determination R2 curve predicted value actual 0.949. relative error range ?6.51–8.66%, absolute ?1.63–1.72%. has good stability.
